Vernon residents can watch the Vernon Town Council live and only on Comcast Chanel 17.
New and Improved. The Town Council has moved to the third floor of the Town Hall and the Council Chambers is now open for business.
Sound. The Sound is excellent. Every visitor be understood. Every Town Council person be heard.
Picture. Picture quality is top notch.
The live event is carried on the Comcast Vernon System facilitated through Community Voice Channel in Bolton, CT. Tune in to Comcast Channel 17. You can also see the Vernon agenda, minutes, etc at http://vernon-ct.gov/agendasmins.cfm
For those that have Comcast in the Vernon area, (Vernon, Ellington, Tolland, Bolton, Andover, Hebron & Marlborough) you can turn to Channel 17 government channel and be involved and more aware of your local government process.
The request for the return line was first recieved July 2005 and was installed summer 2006. Cost for the return line was approx. $12,000 paid for by Comcast with the cable agreement for the Vernon Area.
