After 2 years in the process, the Vernon Town Council will begin broadcasting the Council meetings live on Tuesday, December 18th, at 7:30pm, local time. The live event is carried on the Comcast Vernon System facilitated through Community Voice Channel in Bolton, CT. Tune in to Comcast Channel 17. You can also see the Vernon agenda, minutes, etc at http://vernon-ct.gov/agendasmins.cfm
For those that have Comcast in the Vernon area, (Vernon, Ellington, Tolland, Bolton, Andover, Hebron & Marlborough) you can turn to Channel 17 government channel and be involved and more aware of your local government process.
The request for the return line was first recieved July 2005 and was installed summer 2006. Cost for the return line was approx. $12,000 paid for by Comcast with the cable agreement for the Vernon Area.
