In April 10, 2007, Mr Paskiewicz wrote a rather lengthy article on how the
Vernon Board of Education processes the annual budget & leaves limited time for him to react.
Not sure if this employee is the person to correct policy on how the elected officials should proceed. See the whole story at: www.journalinquirer.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=18190843&BRD=985&PAG=461&dept_id=569435&rfi=6

Just for clarification…..
The Superintendent was blasting the budget process and not the BOE hiring practice. He is frustrated, as we all are, as to how we are going to hire the best teachers we can for the kids as well as fill shortage areas. The longer it takes to pass a budget the harder it becomes to do this. That was his concern…. The relationship with the BOE and superintendent is healthy and their is no blasting going on. We are all doing are best to serve the kids and parents of Vernon.
